Easter long weekend is this weekend, so why not enjoy the cherry blossoms while they’re still here, visit a gallery or indulge in some delectable Easter treats!
We’ve pulled together a list of things you can get up to this April long weekend!
Dive in to the ‘Washed Ashore’ Exhibit
The Washed Ashore Exhibit is a beautiful and impactful art display, created to educate visitors on the importance of sustainability and reducing plastics from our oceans. The exhibit consists of 9 giant marine wildlife sculptures made entirely of waste that has been collected from the ocean.
All aboard at Burnaby Central Railway
The Burnaby Central Railway reopens for the season. It’s a premier miniature railroad offering train rides to the public. Their trains pull multiple cars carrying 20 or more passengers on a two mile ride through the woods, with bridges, tunnels, crossovers, and spirals along the way.
Shop ’til You Drop
With five distinct shopping districts, Burnaby has a shop for everyone. As BC’s largest shopping centre, Metropolis at Metrotown hosts new finds and old favourites in a one-stop destination. Or why not check out the newly renovated Amazing Brentwood and City of Lougheed.
