With a diverse range of sport venues and playing surfaces including arenas, fields, tracks and lakes, Burnaby is the Sport City. We have more than 200 courts, rinks, diamonds and fields for sports such as ice hockey, figure skating, tennis, baseball, soccer, softball/slo-pitch, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, track and field, rugby, cricket, bocce, lacrosse, bowling and archery.
Burnaby is centrally located in Metro Vancouver, well-connected by highways and public transit including rapid transit lines. The centre of Burnaby is less than 20 kilometers away from Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

GENERAL
Tourism Burnaby is asector-focused destination marketing and resource organization that develops, promotes and assists in the city’s tourism growth through innovative community, regional and partner programs.
ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW
Tourism Burnaby is a non-profit destination marketing organization whose purpose is to support tourism promotional activities in order to increase visitation to the city. As part of its mandate, Tourism Burnaby is responsible for marketing, promoting, and selling the city for corporate meetings, pleasure travel, cultural, sports and special events. The organization was incorporated on October 25, 2004 under the Society Act of British Columbia.
