1. Visit Burnaby Village Museum

This historic town celebrates BC Day with some great exhibits! Some notable exhibits include:

    A new outdoor exhibit featuring life-sized cutouts of people who have taken a stand to promote or support social justice in Burnaby, complete with audio components.
  • Across the Pacific
    Experience the stories of Burnaby’s Chinese-Canadian families in English, Chinese and Cantonese village dialect.
  • Learn More or Listen Up
    Scan a QR code to listen to musical performances or gain a deeper understanding of restoration projects and museum activities.

2. Check out a local brewery

Burnaby has three great breweries to choose from- Dageraad Brewing, Studio Brewing and Steamworks.  All three breweries have great patios and offer flights to help you really sample the depth and breadth of their beer.  Learn more here.

3. Explore the Great Outdoors

Are the Olympics inspiring you to test your endurance? Burnaby is home to many great outdoor sports for you to try! Hike up the Velodrome trail to get your steps in, or Mountain Bike down Burnaby Mountain.  Looking for something a little tamer? 4. Shop until you Drop

BC Day has some great sales! Check out one of Burnaby’s 4 malls- Metropolis at Metrotown, Crystal Mall, The Amazing Brentwood, or the City of Lougheed.  Are you looking for a more outdoor shopping experience?
