Experience all things strange and spooky at the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology on the Burnaby campus!

  • See original artifacts from around the world
  • View ghastly creatures courtesy of SFU Biology
  • Discover what lurks in the shadows
  • Learn about monsters and the human skeleton

Guests will go home with their very own shadow puppet creation and a complimentary candy bag. Costumes are encouraged and all those dressed up will be entered to win a prize!

This event is suitable for those aged 5 years and up; children under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult.

Dates: Tuesday, October 26 to Thursday, October 28

Time: 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. (30-minute time slots)

Location: Museum of Archaeology & Ethnography (NE corner of the AQ), Burnaby Campus

Registration: Registration is free, but the admission to the museum is by donation. There will be a donation box by the entrance. A portion of the donations will be donated to The Indian Residential School Survivor Society (IRSSS) https://www.irsss.ca.

Please note, strobe lighting will be used in portions of this event. Non-medical mask required for everyone 12+ and social distancing is encouraged.
