Activities
Some activities require pre-registration ($5 registration fee applies).
- 10 am-4 pm: Eco-Sculpture Planting Activity with City of Burnaby Horticulture Staff
- 10 am-4 pm: Plant a Pot with Seeds to grow at Home!
- 10-10:45 am & 11-11:45 am: Hike Hike Baby! (Pre-registration required)
- 10-10:45 am, 11:15 am-12 pm, 1:30-2:15 pm & 2:45-3:30 pm: Pine Cone Owl mobiles with City of Burnaby Horticulture Staff (Pre-registration required)
- 10-11:30 am & 12:30-2 pm: Burnaby Mountain Flowers and Photography Tour with John Priessl (Pre-registration required)
- 10:30 am-1 pm: Place Based Poetry & Star Book Making with Edie and Melanie (Pre-registration required)
- 12:30-1:15 pm: Sprouting Biologist (Pre-registration required)
- 1:30-4:30 pm: Learn the Art of Shibori – Japanese tye dye with Mariana Frochtengarten
- 2-3:30 pm: Create a Bee Friendly Flower Planter with Cassie from the Honeybee Centre (Pre-registration required)
Entertainment
- 10-10:45 am & 11-11:45 am: Music ranging from Folk to Bluegrass to Blues with Alison Jenkins
- 12-12:45 pm & 1-1:45 pm: Acoustic covers of ballads from Classics to Modern with Shawn Bullshields
- 2-2:45 pm & 3-3:45 pm: An eclectic mix of Classical, Jazz and Folk duets arranged for violin and cello with Molly MacKinnon & Doug Gorkoff
