Guests will have the chance to experience the popular Mexican street food’s all-day menus!
Vancouver’s popular Mexican street food spot, La Taqueria, officially made its highly-anticipated debut in Burnaby on November 14, 2022. Located on street level at The Amazing Brentwood (210- 4567 Lougheed Highway), guests will get to experience chef Maria Ponce’s take on authentic Mexican cuisine, utilizing West Coast ingredients. The 1,800 space features 60 seats inside and an additional 40 on the patio.
“La Taqueria Brentwood is the result of an organic evolution of our brand, since we first opened our first location in 2009,” says Marcelo Ramirez, CEO of La Taqueria. “The Brentwood community continues to grow, and we are thrilled to bring our authentic Mexican dishes to a new neighbourhood and city. We have guests from Burnaby visiting our Vancouver locations, and now they have something even closer to home.”

La Taqueria Brentwood will be open seven days a week, with lunch, happy hour, and dinner service from Monday to Friday, and breakfast, brunch, lunch, happy hour, and dinner service on Saturday and Sunday.
The menu features all of its classics, such as La Taqueria’s famous tacos, nachos, and burritos, in addition to its new breakfast and brunch program recently established at its Yukon Street location. Of course, guests will find its popular Birriamen ramen and full margaritas bar available.
La Taqueria Brentwood was designed to celebrates the four seasons, where the whole indoor dining room and patio merge together to unify into The Amazing Brentwood’s open plaza, full of trees, wood benches, and water fountains.
Guests will be greeted by a cozy, attractive, yet relaxed, approachable room. Sepia pictures grace the walls, resembling the bone marrow of Mexican culture, such as Juan Rulfo, Luis Barragán. In addition, there will be a great collection of 18th century clay vessels all around the room.
“Brentwood is one of our larger locations, and we’re so proud to finally open our doors and invite guests into the beautiful space,” adds Ramirez.
