Kicking off the Pride season in Burnaby is the Burnaby Pride Community Picnic, an event exclusively designed for 2SLGBTQIA+ families and individuals. Join Burnaby Pride on Saturday, July 6, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Maywood Park.

We’re delighted to announce that the Burnaby Neighbourhood House will be cooking up a storm for the Pride Picnic. There will be a selection of hot dogs (meat/veggie/Halal), and pop and chips will be available for a suggested donation of $3-5 (further donations are welcome!).

Entertainment Line-Up:

  • The Dimes (@dimes.entertainment): Bringing the best hits from the 50s to the 2000s, complete with costumes and choreography! Dance along to favorites from ABBA, The Supremes, Cher, Madonna, and more!
  • Mina Chan (@magical_minachan): A pianist and singer-songwriter whose fairy tale-inspired music sparks imagination and magic.
  • Tomaio: A cover artist and aspiring songwriter whose heartfelt music reflects their queer Filipinx experiences.

Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs, cozy picnic blankets, and stay hydrated with water as we celebrate under the open skies.
