If you’re within earshot of someone in the local foodie scene, you’ve likely heard about how diverse (and delicious) Burnaby is.

Knowing where to start can always be daunting, so thankfully, there’s a fantastic excuse to hop in and start trying the countless culinary gems!

Running from March 1 – 31, Bite of Burnaby is a food festival that showcases the depth and breadth of the restaurants in the area. Grab a box of Portuguese egg tarts to bring to the office, get take out Korean BBQ for a movie night at home, or enjoy in a wood-fired pizza and romantic stroll around Burnaby Heights, it all fits under the umbrella of the festival.

Restaurants will be offering pre-set tasting menus from $10 – $60 so you can get the best value no matter how hungry you are. As if that wasn’t incentive enough to partake in one of BC’s hottest foodie locales, Bite of Burnaby is also offering participants the chance to win a local shop, stay and dine package!

It’s almost enough to coax you out of cooking for the entirety of March. Of course, you’re sure to have a few leftovers here and there to enjoy the next day, and that’s basically like cooking.
