Meet in Burnaby Update
A short update on all things Meet in Burnaby:
The meeting and events team attended CanSPEP Conference in Saskatoon and CMEE in Toronto. These conferences produced some extraordinary leads for 2023 and beyond. The latter event also opened up partnership opportunities with Vancouver, Richmond, Whistler, Kamloops, Kelowna, and Victoria by creating the Experience BC Aisle. It was extremely popular with attendees.
Luxury Suite Meetings in Seattle.
PCMA event in Niagara Falls in November 2022. The meeting and events team will be hosting an evening with the Experience BC Team.
An afternoon tea in Toronto with a select group of meeting and conference planners.

Tourism Burnaby is a non-profit destination marketing organization whose purpose is to support tourism promotional activities in order to increase visitation to the city. As part of its mandate, Tourism Burnaby is responsible for marketing, promoting, and selling the city for corporate meetings, pleasure travel, cultural, sports and special events. The organization was incorporated on October 25, 2004 under the Society Act of British Columbia.
