An outdoor orchestral extravaganza is happening in Burnaby. The serene surroundings of Deer Lake Park will provide the perfect backdrop for Symphony in the Park on July 15, featuring the renowned Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. CONDUCTOR’S BIOGRAPHY

Jonathan Darlington has held the position of Music Director Emeritus at Vancouver Opera since 2018 after completing a highly successful term of almost 20 years as Music Director. On the other hand, David Bui is the 1st prize winner of the Ionel Perlea International Conducting Competition 2021 and has been RBC Assistant Conductor of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra since April 2022 under the direction of chief conductor Otto Tausk.
