Studio Brewing, one of Burnaby’s beloved breweries, is celebrating its second anniversary with a party! Located at 5792 Beresford Street, just a hop, skip, and a stumble from Royal Oak SkyTrain station, Studio Brewing has become a favourite of Burnaby locals and visitors. Despite Burnaby’s small quantity of craft breweries, it makes up for it in quality, and Studio Brewing is carrying on that tradition.

To mark the occasion, Studio Brewing is hosting an anniversary party on Saturday, February 25, from 12:00 PM until 11:00 PM. The event promises to be a lively celebration with live music from 3:00 – 6:00 PM and a Bratwurst pop-up that goes well with the lager lineup. Studio Brewing invites everyone to join the festivities and help celebrate their two years of hard work and dedication.

Since opening its doors, Studio Brewing has been turning heads with its eclectic and well-constructed beer lineup, featuring collaborations with craft beer cool kids like Brassneck, House of Funk, and neighbouring Burnaby Brewery, Dageraad. It’s not surprising considering its former Twin Sails and Coalesce brewmaster Ryan Voigt is at the helm here.

It hasn’t been easy the last two years, with the pandemic shutting down their taproom, supply chain issues affecting their ingredients, and being broken into (twice!). But with the help of their incredibly supportive community, Studio Brewing has managed to get through it all. In the last two years, they have given back as much as they can to the community by raising thousands of dollars for the Burnaby Neighborhood House, Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver, the MS Society of Burnaby, and doing collaborations with their good neighbours, the Nikkei Japanese Cultural Center, hosting events featuring local craft makers, and teaming up with Hershel and Arcteryx!

All of this hard work and dedication is being celebrated on Saturday, February 25, at Studio Brewing’s second-anniversary party. Legends Haul is coming out to do a Bratwurst pop-up to go with the lager lineup, and the street next to them is being shut down to give everyone a little more room to seat. It promises to be a fantastic event, and everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the festivities.
