Yaguchiya Ramen is an iekei style of ramen that originated from Yokohama, Japan, in 1994 and in 2017 they opened their first Canadian location here in Burnaby.  Be sure to try their ‘Yaguchiya Special Ramen,’ which features a pork and chicken broth.

Ramen Gaoh

Ramen Gaoh is from the same restaurant group as Ramen Butcher and Ramen Danbo! Their recommended ramen is the scorpion ramen. A blend of miso, chili pepper, szechuan pepper, fish sauce and 12 other spices to produce a very unique spicy miso ramen. YUM!

Marutama

This must-try ramen spot originates from Kawaguchi, Japan and now you can find them right here in Burnaby. Marutama is known for their signature creamy chicken broth (toripai tan), so be sure to order this when you visit.

Kamamarui is a quaint little restaurant with two locations in Burnaby. You’ll find them at Royal Oak Ave and Burnaby Heights, their menu, along with their signature house made sauces are the same in both locations.
