The Burnaby Village Museum returns again this summer with free admission! Explore Burnaby as it was in the 1920's by exploring the living village. Visit the school house and talk with a teacher, make a stop by the general store and dine at the ice cream parlour. New this year! Experience the golden age of radio here at the Village this summer. A radio station, set up in Stride Studio, will be transmitting to vintage radios located throughout the site. Archival sound recordings as well as live performances and on-the-spot interviews will be featured. Hands-on displays and activities will be based on early radio technology including creating sound effects.
