Swangard is home to , Simon Fraser University’s varsity football and soccer teams, and the venue for regional, provincial, national and international soccer, rugby, football and track and field events.

The stadium is also used by school groups, amateurs, professional sporting groups, as well as a variety of non-sporting functions – such as various fundraising, civic and cultural events.  If you’re planning at tournament, track meet or fundraising event, Swangard Stadium may be the right venue for you.

Getting Here

Swangard Stadium is centrally located in British Columbia's Lower Mainland, in the northwest corner of Burnaby’s Central Park. It is easily accessible – close to two major automobile routes as well as public transportation (bus and Skytrain). Plenty of overnight accommodations and restaurants are also available nearby.

From Hwy 1 West
Take the First Avenue exit, turn right onto First Avenue, then turn right onto Boundary Road.

From Hwy 1 Eastbound
Take the Boundary Road South exit.

From Hwy 99 North
After Oak Street Bridge, turn right onto Marine Drive. Go east on Marine Drive and turn left onto Boundary Road.

SkyTrain
Exit at Patterson Street Station, follow path heading west to Swangard Stadium.

Pay Parking

Parking is available (360 spots) either at the parking lot at Boundary Road and 47th Avenue or the east lot accessed from Kingsway. Pay parking may be in effect for all large crowd events ($6.00-8.00+ depending on event).
